The Republic Emergency Broadcasting System was a message utilized when the office of Supreme Chancellor Palpatine issued Republic Executive Directive 93021-84121 as a result of the outbreak of the Clone Wars, and the issuing of the Emergency Powers Act. The message revealed that the channel which was originally occupied by Holonet news had been reserved for military use, presumably by the clone forces. It also indicated that the reader should adjust the transceiver to other, approved government channels to gain information. This reservation was to take place for the duration of the emergency.
