Edward Robert Robson FRIBA FSA FSI (2 March 1836 – 19 January 1917) was an architect famous for the progressive spirit of his London state-funded school buildings of the 1870s and early 1880s. In May 1871 he was appointed the first architect of the London School Board. He held the position until 1884, and it is estimated that he designed 279 schools. In 1885 he accepted the position of Consulting Architect to the Department of Education, subsequently also becoming Consulting Architect to the Scottish Education Department and the Home Office. He retired in 1902.
