The Palace of the High Inquisitor is the fortress-citadel of the High Inquisitor of the Gorak'nar Commonwealth, located in the capital city of Po'gaenei. It was built by order of High Inquisitor Jaeden'laek XVI in 2351 around the same time as the new Temple of Po'gaenus. The Palace serves as the center of the Gorak'nar Commonwealth's government, where the High Inquisitor and his advisors meet to decide the future of their people. The Palace, and the city of Po'gaenei itself, is based on the city of Shattrath, formerly the capital of the Draenei, in Outland's Terokkar Forest.
