The goblin saboteur is the alternate upgrade of the gremlin, the first level creature of the Academy, in Heroes of Might and Magic V add-on, Tribes of the East. Compared to the master gremlin, the saboteur has better stats, and a very different special ability: switching off enemy mechanical units, rather than repairing their own. Since golems are Academy creatures, however, Saboteur can only be used against war machines, or against towers in sieges, unless the opposing player is also from an Academy town. On the other hand, the extra stats makes the saboteur more useful in combat.
