Petracles is a character on Xena: Warrior Princess. Xena was betrothed to him for an undisclosed amount of time, and it is hinted that Xena left or fled before he could wed her. Xena reluctantly asked for his help in finding the Samarian Treasure. He tried to seduce Gabrielle along the way, but Xena warned her not to give in, as he is nothing but trouble. Petracles risked his life to save Gabrielle from Thersites, but he was killed by him. After his death, Xena stated that he was a good man after all. He was played by Peter Daube.
