The Fairy is an item from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It is a cooking ingredient and a curative item. It restores Link's health by refilling five Heart Containers. Link may use it manually or just die and the Fairy will restore Link's five hearts. Fairies will only appear if Link has two or fewer Fairies in his inventory. They usually appear near Fairy Fountains in groups of four or on top of the Great Deku Tree. They can be occasionally found by cutting grass, or may randomly spawn alone in particular places such as one of the bridged islands on the path leading to Rito Village.
