Emperor Thorn III was the last ruler of the Amberlian Empire. Under his rule, the great empire, which had ruled southern Jadame since 342 AS, began to break apart. To preserve their treasures, he built the Vault of Time in 621 AS, in the area that would later become Ravenshore. Here, he sealed away the last of the Amberlian regalia, including the Scepter of Kings. Emperor Thorn passed away in 633 AS, and the empire crumbled to dust.
