Linn Park Gardens was the first private housing estate to be built in Johnstone (near Glasgow) in the late 1960s. Housing consited of one style of housing - semi detached homes built to a modernist style. It was built at the foot of the Linn Brae and is surrounded by woodland and another private estate: Springfield Gardens. It is a desirable area and popular with young families.
