The House of Gowron was Gowron's Great House. In 2372, Kira Nerys decided to not let Worf deal with Captain Drokas due to Worf not being "on the best of terms" with the House of Gowron after the Klingon invasion of Cardassia. (DS9 novel: Trial by Error) After Gowron was killed by Worf, the House of Gowron was dissolved. Chancellor Martok commented that "the ruined House of Gowron is gone from the face of Qo'noS and gone from the annals of military victories of the Klingon Empire".
