Having only just returned to Seattle from his adventure in China, Green Arrow is surprised to find Hawkman being pursued across the sky by five Warhawks. Hawkman calls out to them that he had nothing to do with the murder of the Thanagarian Emperor, claiming that Shayera is only having them chase him for his Nth Metal. Hoping to protect the woman under Hawkman's arm, Oliver fires a volley of needle-arrows at them, and, after embedding themselves in the Warhawks' wings, they release an electrical charge that stuns them. This gives him enough time to confirm the charge of murder with Hawkman, who claims that he is innocent.
