Patch 2.3 gave players sets of similar armor types sharing the same models but with different stats for another spec or class. The items had stats and mods like armor penetration and haste which were previously only available to those in Tier 6 content. They have been referred to as Tier 5.5 by some since their ilvl fell in between T5 and T6 quality gear. These sets are gotten either through drops in Zul'Aman or are purchased from G'eras in Shattrath with [Badge of Justice]. These sets do not offer class-exclusive bonuses and some items are also desired by different classes and armor types.
