Grael is a creature of unknown origin and race (presumably a Dwarf) who was transformed long ago into a undead Ghast while aiding Durlag Trollkiller in battling and subduing an evil presence that had invaded Durlag's Tower. Now Grael, in his endless life, chooses to guard the remains of Durlag. He will provide Gorion's Ward with some information about the evil presence before attacking.
