The Central Information Agency is a government agency set up to assist the FBI, Police, and Military in gathering information. The CIA's primary function is to assist the FBI in their intelligence gathering efforts. It is well known that there is great inter-service rivalry between the FBI and CIA, and their reluctance to directly assist each other.
