Risatrix is a female sorcerer from Aterakarus. She is the lord of the Gamelands, and is the single mother to Saramissious. She is known to be very strict and proper, and has a natural affinity for photokinesis. She naturally dislikes Sanasalin (an umbrakinetic) but recognizing his ability (and the irony) employs him to teach photokinesis to her son, hoping Saramissious can one day kill Sanasalin, but not realizing that Saramissious is a natural technopath with no affinity for photokinesis.
