Masato Nagareboshi (流れ星=マサト, Nagareboshi Masato) is a powerful Seishin. As it turns out, he is the biological father of Gai Nagareboshi, and the main antagonist of Part IV and V of Bleach: Rising Phoenix. His plan is to destroy time and age, allowing him to live in the past for all eternity and relive the times where everything was much easier. Gai's main motivation for lifting a finger in Part IV is so that he can tell his father exactly what he thinks of him.
