Aku summons his disciple Demongo, who possesses the power to steal the essence of powerful warriors and ferocious beasts alike and use them as pawns to battle his other enemies. Jack goes into Demongo and frees the trapped souls. Aku is later disappointed with Demongo's failure. Demongo begs Aku to give him another chance, but he refuses, and Demongo is destroyed by Aku.
