Seppun Yasuhiko was the daughter and second child of Seppun Nishiko, the Seppun Daimyo in the last years of Iweko I's reign. In 1199 during Winter Court at Toshi Ranbo she was betrothed to Hiruma Tetsuya, who would join the Seppun family after one year of courting.
