Miklho was once an ordinary Gorilla. He was was one of three apes that was trained and taken into space by a Soviet scientist; the Red Ghost who was seeking to get to the moon before the Fantastic Four do. After being exposure to Cosmic Rays, Miklho and the two other of the apes gained super human abilities. They became members of the Super-Apes, and became an enemy to the Fantastic Four.
