Central Africa is an area ripe for adventure in any of the three editions of Twilight 2000. The United Nations and African Union allow for multi-national groups of PCs. Oil is produced in several areas of Africa. This area can be used as a starting point for campaigns or as a transition area for campaigns going to or coming from the Middle East and Europe. According to the UN, the nine countries of Middle Africa are Angola, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, and São Tomé and Príncipe. All of the states in the UN subregion of Middle Africa, plus those otherwise commonly reckoned in Central Africa.
