The Scythian Scout is a hero unit in Age of Empires II that features in multiple campaigns, making its first appearance as a prisoner of the Romans in Scourge of God with 1,000 hit points, and as a starting unit in Bukhara. It is also available in the Scenario Editor. During the Sundjata campaign mission Djeriba Gold, the player can also obtain renamed 8 Scythian Scouts upon reaching the camp in the south of the map, which are excellent units thanks to their high pierce armor and health regeneration ability (due to their status as heroes).
