In 1975, he moved to the US and, with the help of Romeo Tanghal, he began working for DC Comics on titles such as Weird War and The Legion of Super-Heroes. He also worked for Marvel Comics doing long stints as an inker on The Fantastic Four and Captain America. Around this time, he worked for a Canadian television station designing costumes for characters including "Captain Canada". Most recently, he finished a 300+ page comic adaptation of the Bible for No Greater Joy Ministries, and then retired from the industry to San Francisco.
