Dabbs Greer (April 2, 1917 - April 28, 2007) was a veteran actor best known for playing reverend Robert Alden on Little House on the Prairie. Greer was often cast into minister roles. He performed the marriages of Rob and Laura Petrie on The Dick Van Dyke Show and Mike and Carol Brady on The Brady Bunch. Other works include three roles on the Adventures of Superman, being one of the first people that Superman saved, Bonanza, Perry Mason, The Rifleman, Diagnosis Murder and the storekeeper on Gunsmoke.
