Carlos Dash was a person who had little patience. He had been a slave who suffered his first death in 1817, when he was lynched. He would later hunt and kill his former masters after reviving as an Immortal. A half-century later, in 1865, Carlos would take advantage of the chaos and violence following the American Civil War to specifically target active Ku Klux Klan members. When his insufficiently-subservient behavior lead to what appeared to be his death, Carlos took great pleasure in returning as a "ghost" to torment and attack his killers.
