The language has baffled linguists for many years, appearing to have no demonstratable relationship to any other language. As such, the classification of Kolhari is a subject of dispute. However, Kolhari is generally regarded as a language isolate. Kolhari is a wealky inflected in it's morthology and VOS in its syntax
