Around thirty days after Emergence Day, Panturo was part of the effort to defend the city of Halvo Bay from a huge Locust assault. Panturo was killed in a Locust grenade trap during the battle while defending the Great Hall of the Museum of Military Glory. Panturo's COG Tag was later recovered by Lt.Damon Baird of Kilo Squad.
