Misty W. Dreamweaver Jr. is typically only spoken as her name just to differentiate her from her own mother, as both of them share the first name of Misty. She appears as a hinted at role in Truth and Ideals as the strongest user of Heartsoul Amplification, but eventually becomes a major character in the story beginning with Chapter 31: Entry to Nimbasa City. She becomes Ash's first major love interest alongside Iris sharing the role with her. Notably, though, is that compared to Ash, both he and Iris were pleasantly surprised to learn that Misty was actually happier with Iris with them, as she herself was actually bisexual. As a result, she approves of Iris being in their relationship immensely.
