Duke Vladimiris a villain in the Horrendously Horrible Happenings fictional book series that fern reads . He is constantly trying to capture the Bronte orphans and steal their fortune. He first kidnapped them in book 1 during a magic act where he made them vanish, but not reappear. In book 10, he demanded they give him their fortune or he would drop the smallest orphan into a pool of crocodiles; to which they actually gave him the money, and he let her go free. He is a parody of Count Olaf from Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events.
