The Cloninator 500b is presumably less advanced then the Cloninator 550b. This is evident in that this machine had a malfunction which mutated DeGilla, while the Betty Clones had abilities that the original Betty hadn't, this was not a result of the machine, as Maximus used the DNA of three women to give the Betty Clones their abilities.
