The Deep One Chamber (not officially named) was an underground area of Derceto that essentially consisted of a lake with pillars. The lake itself is the home of the creatures known as the Deep Ones, which will attack if the player falls into the water. The playing protagonist must get across to the other side via the pillars in order to continue to the source of the evil. Once the source of evil (Ezechiel Pregzt) was destroyed, the player is safe to get into the water.
