The Park Wellington's 164 units have been home to many notable residents who successfully negotiated to reduce the mass and scale of the Sunset Millenium project in 1999, which included a Las Vegas style pedestrian bridge across La Cienega Boulevard on the southern side of Sunset Boulevard. The conditions of approval included a cul-de-sac to protect the well healed residents from cut through traffic between Holloway Drive and Sunset Boulevard creating a unique urban enclave.
