Chuck Bown (born February 22, 1954 in Portland, Oregon), is a former NASCAR champion. He began racing at the age of 17 in the NASCAR Winston West Series before moving up to the Winston Cup Series. He won the Busch Grand National championship in 1990, as well as one Bud Pole in the Cup Series at Bristol in 1994. During his Busch stint, he won eleven races and an average finsh of 16th. He also was in the top ten 4 times in the Nationwide series standings. He finished his career with three Sprint Cup top-tens, 4 Craftsman Truck series top-fives, and 13 truck top-tens. His last ride came in 1999. He currently lives with his wife in Asheboro, North Carolina.
