James William "Jim" Ross (January 3, 1952) is a professional wrestling commentator, referee, restaurateur, occasional wrestler, currently signed to WWE, where he works as a commentator and worled as a talent relations consultant. Ross was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2007 and is widely regarded as one of the greatest announcers in wrestling history. He is known affectionately by wrestling fans as "Good Ol' JR". Outside of professional wrestling, Ross has developed his own brand of barbecue sauces and cookbooks.
