A heavy repulsortank was a classification of repulsortank used by the Imperial Army. Equipped with the toughest armor and most powerful weapons available, heavy repulsortanks were generally considered to be a squad-level unit for deployment purposes. Their firepower rivalled that of stationary artillery pieces, and they could take an enormous amount of punishment from other heavy assault vehicles. The Imperial Army employed several variants of heavy repulsortanks, including the S-1 FireHawke Heavy Repulsortank, the Imperial Repulsortank 1-H, and a model employed on Edan II.
