The Chameleon Suit is a type of hi-tech camouflage system utilized by FOXHOUND during the 1990s, acting as their field uniform. They were capable of dividing into cold and hot regional types, with both variants supporting a variable-camouflage system with internal heat and luminous sensors. It also worked in conjunction with a camouflage screen composed of a polyesther shield with few radar reflection ratio. As such, it was colloquially named the "Chameleon Suit" because the variable-camouflage system changed colors and patterns in a similar manner to a chameleon and assimilates it into the surrounding.
