The Angel Shark (Squatina squatina) or Monkfish is a species of fish. This species can reach up to 2m when adult, and has a blunt head, which has 2 nostrels and small barbels. This species has a flattened body which is quite similar to rays. There are two fins of the tail, as well as the tail-fin. This species is found on sand and gravel or sand from shallow waters up to 100m deep.
