Doctor Chadderton attended to baby Hope Stape when she was born three months prematurely at Weatherfield General in December 2010. Hope contracted an infection while in the incubator and the Doctor told a worried Fiz that they were going to conduct a blood transfusion on her as her immune system wasn’t fully developed. After several weeks of care, the doctor gave Fiz the good news that she would be able to hold her baby for the first time later on that day.
