Tri-magnesite was a variation of magnesite. Burning combined with trevium, tri-magnesite produced large quantities of ultraviolet light. This effect formed the basis of the ultraviolet satellites used in 2267, to destroy the neural parasites on Deneva. (TOS: "Operation -- Annihilate!" )
