The Tof-Ssi-Ruu War is a conflict that may or may not have occurred in the Unknown Regions. Most of what is known about it comes from second-hand sources that were compiled by New Republic Intelligence. By all reports, the war started in 15 ABY when the Tof and the Ssi-Ruu clashed over resources on a series of uninhabited planets. The Ssi-Ruu were driven by their failing government and urgent need for resources, while the Tof were spilling for a fight and looking for a race that they could beat down on. As a result, the conflict between the two races escalated considerably.
