This is a general description of all Tech 2 Naval units. These units are created at a T2 or T3 Naval Factory. T2 Naval units are a class of specialized naval weapons, and can be used for a multitude of tasks. T2 Naval units are used to support and protect the battleships in large-scale combats, although they are more commonly used to provide shoreline support to ground and amphibious assaults, maritime defense and spearheads for small-scale naval combat.
