Spectral Locks are a type of lock that only appear in Metroid Prime Hunters. They appear in the room Sanctorus on the planet Arcterra. When Samus first enters Sanctorus, she will be locked in, forcing her to search the room for these locks. Spectral Locks are very similar to Proxy Locks, save for the fact that they are only visible with the use of the Scan Visor. Spectral Locks also appear in the Cortex CPU in the Vesper Defense Outpost. Samus must scan them to raise a lift that is holding the Battlehammer, allowing her to acquire it.
