Jerris is a center of shipping for Barsaive, despite its dreary aspect and location near the Poison Forest and Wastes. Many goods wander in and out of Jerris through the constant flow of airship traffic, and pretty much anything and everything that can be bought or sold will pass through Jerris eventually. With this in mind, items with Unusual and Rare availability are available as if they were Average, although some time may pass before the equipment arrives at local merchants ("If we don't have it, we can order it for you").
