Rick Medina was a corrupt major, associated with the Army CID. He worked for terrorist leader Ala A Din Keshwar and appears as a minor antagonist in Season 1. In a stand-off with NCIS Agents G. Callen, Sam Hanna and Kensi Blye, Medina admitted that he was getting paid a lot of money to help Keshwar and that he would not let NCIS take him in alive before reaching for his gun, effectively committing suicide by cop while forcing Sam, Kensi and Callen to shoot him, killing Medina instantly.
