The RG1520GK features a basswood body bolted to a maple and bubinga Super Wizard neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include dual Ibanez Vintage humbucking pickups, a locking nut and a Double Edge Pro tremolo bridge with Roland GK compatible piezo elements which allow access to Roland GK effects and midi control via a 13-pin connector. The RG1520GK was slightly updated for 2005 and renamed the RG1520G. The RG420GK is another Roland GK compatible model which was offered in 2002.
