The Turkmenistan Championship is the national ice hockey championship in Turkmenistan. The first season of the tournament took place in 2013-14. It involves 8 professional clubs of various ministries, departments and institutions of Turkmenistan. The tournament was held for 3 months in Ashgabat, consisting of 28 games in total. The teams placing first through fourth place in the championship, qualified for the Turkmenistan Cup. Galkan HC won the inaugural Turkmenistan Championship. The second edition of the championship started in January 2015.
