The Battle of Écparz took place in 0 ABY when Rebel Group MT50 and ninety-one Écparzi attacked the Imperial base on Écparz. There were no survivors on the Imperial side as Eliridus Krotus ordered his men to fight to the death against the rebels. Surprisingly, there were few casualties on the side of the Rebellion. Among the Écparzi was Sklabn Starwarmth, who killed twenty-three Imperials before being gunned down herself in the command center of the base. Rebel Group MT50 decided to help defend the base until the main Alliance forces escaped the Blockade of Yavin and could again assume command of rebels throughout the galaxy.
