He served as a military advisor to the Klingon High Council during the Khitomer Crisis that erupted after the destruction of Praxis, and in which Chancellor Gorkon died. (Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country) During the ISC War of Pacification, he led the Klingon contingent during Operation Tyr, leading to his demise as his flagship, the IKS DighreS, was destroyed.
