Billy T. James (born William James Te Wehi Taitoko MBE) (17 January 1948 - 7 August 1991) was a New Zealand comedian and one of the best known entertainers in the country. He started off in the Maori Volcanics back in the 1970's and over the next two decades became New Zealand's most beloved entertainers. He died on August 7th 1991 due to Heart Failure.
