Nathan Littlejohn was an Earth Starfleet officer active in the 22nd century. (USS Cheyenne Operations Manual) During the Earth-Romulan War, Littlejohn was commanding officer of the starship Essex. He fought with distinction during the Third Battle of Gamma Hydra. It has not been confirmed that the Essex commanded by Littlejohn was a Daedalus-class starship that would be contemporary with the war. In the 24th century, a Cheyenne-class exploration cruiser would be named after him. It is not known if he was related to Lydia Littlejohn, then-Prime Minister of United Earth.
