Baru Hyuga was the temporary partner to Emiko Uchiha during their training in Root. Believed by most to have been killed by Emiko Uchiha he actually was revived by Rin Hei. Baru acts a secret agent with Root and preforms political espionage and assassinations that are in Konoha's and Danzo's best interest. He has also been ordered to keep tabs on Emiko and to assassinate her when she has exhausted her use to Root.
