These releases were Region 1 only; the rest of the world had to wait until 2004 for an Original Series release, when the decision to focus on season box sets saw a re-release of the series – this time, worldwide. When released in Region 1, some of the box set special features were made available only on a bonus disc as a retailer exclusive at several preferred retailers. These features were included with the standard Region 2 release, and were eventually included for American customers on the remastered DVD releases. __TOC__
